On February 16th the El Norte Pop-up Kitchen did their thing at Octo Fish Bar in Lowertown for the St. Paul Farmers Market. The menu consisted of the usual Cali Burrito, Carne Asada Fries, Churros, and a very limited featured graced the menu. The creative and talented team brought a game changer to the table using the Mexican sweet bread known as a concha as the bun for their version of a bacon cheeseburger, and they even made their own pepper jack cheese. If you were able to wrap your lips around one of the 20 orders available you were truly in for a treat with a sweet, salty, spicy, and juicy combination was a one of a kind mouth-watering experience.
