Soundset 2019 Recap

Here is my quick Soundset Music festival recap, including Soundset sundaes from Milkjam Creamery, performance shots from the festival, and I could never leave out some of the pretty great eats at the 2019 hip hop music festival. The second Milkjam Creamery Soundset 2019 sundae feature was inspired by the twin cities very own, Dem Atlas. He wanted something that felt familiar like home, something like apple pie in the spring time. Chef and owner Sameh Wadi got to work and came up with this beautiful ice cream sundae, titled "Bad Loves Company" after one of Dem's song. The sundae features milkjam ice cream, caramelized apples, hibiscus poached apples and rhubarb, caramelized rice crispies, caramel whip, hibiscus granita.

The third Soundset 2019 sundae feature by Milkjam Creamery was inspired by the Lil Wayne line, " real G's move in silence like lasagna". So chef went ahead and made an ice cream "LASAgNA" sundae featuring, mascarpone/basil ice cream, vanilla noodles, raspberry compote, white chocolate. Out of the three years I've been apart of these collaborations this one is sitting at #1 for creativity, flavor and sex appeal (yes food can be sexy).
